All home meets are at the Macgills Common Pool. KC Waves sit on the left at home meets. At away meets, we sit on the right. Swimmers will need to arrive at the pool one hour before the start of the meet in order to warm up.
For away meets, swimmers will need to arrive at the host pool no later than e the start of the meet. Usually for away meets, team members meet at the MacGills Common Pool and caravan to the host pool.
All meets start at 8 a.m. and last until 11-11:30 a.m. Swimmers may participate in two events and some swimmers will be designated to swim in a relay.

All pep rallies and home meets will be held at Macgills Common Pool. Pep rallies begin at 6:00pm. Warm-ups are 7 a.m for home meets and 7:30 a.m. for away meets. All meets start at 8 a.m.

Inclement Weather
It is the intention of the League to run all meets
if at all possible. Therefore, in the event of light rain, meets will
run as scheduled. However, if there are electrical storms, heavy rain,
and/or very cold temperatures, the League Supervisor will make the
decision to delay or postpone the meets by 6 a.m.. The League
Supervisor will then call each head coach and/or home pool to notify
the teams. The coach will then call the managers who will notify each
age group parent who will notify the families in their age group. Meets
will be rescheduled for the same time on the Sunday immediately
following the cancelled meet.

1. Check the KCWaves Web Site
for an Inclement Weather Bulletin first.
2. If you cannot get to a
computer or PDA, call your age group parent:
