Time Trials

When: Saturday, June 12

Time: 7:30am Warmups; Events begin promptly at 8:00am

Where: Macgills Common Pool

To establish a seed time for each stroke, swimmers will participate in a time trial event prior to the first meet. The seed time is then used by the coach to prepare line-ups for the first meet. If you are unable to attend time trials, please contact the coach. Time trials are Saturday, June 12, and start at 8 a.m. at Macgills Common Pool.

When you arrive at the pool, fill out the form with your name, address, phone and date of birth and indicate the events in which the swimmer will participate. Swimmers will report to the Clerk of Course to pick up his/her card before each event. Listen for the announcer to know when to pick up cards. Clerk aids will be available to line up the swimmers. The starter will say “Take your mark.” Then the beeper will sound indicating that the swimmer is to jump in the water and swim to the end of the lane. When the swimmer gets to the end of the lane, he/she should wait until the last swimmer gets across the pool before getting out.

Swimmers are encouraged to swim all the events that they are planning to swim in the meets. The order of events is IM (Individual Medley), Freestyle, BackStroke, BreastStroke and Butterfly.
